Recording Voiceover in Projects

  1. Removing Existing Voiceover: If you already have a voiceover, it will be automatically removed when you start a new recording. You can also manually remove it for all scenes or just for a specific scene.

  2. Scene Selection: Notice the blue line around a scene; this indicates the currently selected scene. You can have a different voiceover for each scene.

  3. Start Recording: Click on "Voiceover Record." Make sure you've selected the correct microphone. Begin recording your voiceover.

  4. Confirmation: After recording, you can preview, redo, or confirm it. Once confirmed, an orange microphone label will appear on the upper right-hand corner of the scene at the bottom.

  5. Repeat for Each Scene: You can go back to "Voiceover Record" and repeat this process for each scene.

Adding Voiceover to Video Clips

  1. Navigate to Quick Edit: Go to the "Quick Edit" section and click on "Add Voiceover."

  2. Highlight Section: Highlight the section where you want the voiceover. You can either drag in the transcript area or use the timeline below the video.

  3. Refinement: You can nudge the selection to refine it using your arrow keys, guided by the waveforms.

  4. Preview and Record: Preview the selection and make sure you've selected the correct microphone. Click "Start" to begin recording.

  5. Post-Recording Options: After recording, you have the option to preview, remove, replace the original, or redo the voiceover. To finalize, click "Confirm."

By following these steps, you can effectively add voiceovers to both your projects and individual video clips in Visla.
