How to Export and Download Projects

This article explains exporting and downloading projects in Visla, detailing steps to save completed videos for sharing or storage.

Updated over a week ago

Pre-requisites for Downloading

Before you can download a project, it's essential to export it first. The export process prepares your video for download by adding it as a clip to your library on the Visla cloud.

Paid Plan Requirements

If you are not on a paid plan, there are limitations on exporting paid stock footage and music (i.e. - Storyblocks, and Getty Images). In such cases, you have two options:

  1. Upgrade to a Paid Plan: This will grant you access to export videos with paid stock footage and music.

  2. Regenerate Using Free Stock: Alternatively, you can modify your project to use only free stock footage and music, and then proceed with the export.

Exporting the Video:

  • Navigate to your project and enter the editing phase. Click on the "Export" button to initiate the export process.

Locating the Exported Clip:

  • Once the project is successfully exported, go to the "Clips" section in the space you were working from to find your video.

Downloading the Video:

  • Locate the three-dot menu to the right of the video title, beneath the video preview. Select "Download" from this menu to download your video to your device.

By following these guidelines, you can successfully export and download your Visla projects.
